जनाइएको छ means it is reported that. The fact comes before it, in an -एको or -ने form.
How It Works
Reporters often do not name the person who said something. They put the news first and end with जनाइएको छ (it was reported) or भनिएको छ (it is said).

The clause ends in -एको for what has happened and -ने for what will happen. The word जनाइएको comes from जनाउनु (to let know), and the past is जनाइएको थियो.
It works like the English it is reported that. The sentence is not a quotation. A spoken report would use भन्छन् or रे instead.

The news clause ends in -एको.
- बाढीले दुई गाउँ प्रभावित भएको जनाइएको छ।
It was reported that two villages have been affected by the flood.
भएको is from हुनु.
- आज बिहान सडक दुर्घटना भएको भनिएको छ।
It is said that a road accident happened this morning.
भनिएको छ is the other common ending.
- बिरामीको अवस्था सामान्य रहेको जनाइएको छ।
The patient's condition is reported to be normal.
रहेको is the formal -एको form.
- नयाँ विद्यालय अर्को महिना खुल्ने जनाइएको छ।
It was reported that the new school will open next month.
The -ने clause is for a future event.
