Being Seen or Heard
देखाइ पड़ब means "to be seen" and सुनाइ पड़ब means "to be heard".
How It Works
Use देखाइ पड़ब for sight and सुनाइ पड़ब for sound.
| Verb | Present | Past |
|---|---|---|
If you want to name the person who sees or hears, use the object form: (I couldn't see anything in the dark).
The thing seen agrees with the "to be" word as usual. A respected person takes
Use it when something is visible or audible. Use देखब and सुनब for the act of looking and listening: हम फिल्म देखैत छी.
