The ten digits are ০ ১ ২ ৩ ৪ ৫ ৬ ৭ ৮ ৯, for 0 to 9. Like the digits you know, they are read from left to right.
The short word নং means “number” and stands after the digits. Write Assamese digits, not Latin ones: 6:30 becomes ৬:৩০. Counts of things such as দুটা কল “two bananas” and তিনিজন ল’ৰা “three boys” are written in words.
