جوں جوں ... توں توں
Two Changes Developing Together
As one thing changes → the other changes with it.
How It Works
جوں جوں introduces a developing change. توں توں connects a second change that progresses along with it.
The two changes can move in the same direction or in opposite directions. The construction connects their progression without, by itself, proving that one causes the other.
This pair often appears in literary or careful descriptive language. A simple جب clause can connect two events without the same emphasis on gradual change.
