How It Works

The introductory کہا جاتا ہے remains masculine singular in this construction. The noun inside the following clause does not change it to کہی جاتی ہے.

The embedded clause has its own subject and verb agreement. It can describe a present state, a past event or a future expectation.

If a named source matters, identify that source directly instead of hiding it behind a general “it is said.” The phrase is useful for recognizing reports and traditional claims.
