یوں لگتا ہے جیسے
Describing an Impression
It seems → as though this were the case.
How It Works
The opening reports how a situation appears to the speaker. The clause after جیسے makes that appearance concrete through a comparison.
The main لگتا ہے is masculine singular in this impersonal frame. A feminine participant inside the comparison does not change it to لگتی ہے.
The compared clause can describe an ongoing action, a state, or an event that seems already complete. Its verb form follows that meaning; do not assign one tense to every impression.
