जस्तो ... त्यस्तै
Just as ... So
जस्तो ... त्यस्तै means just as ... so.
How It Works
जस्तो means of the kind that or as, and त्यस्तै means just like that. Together they say that the second thing matches the first.
- जस्तो तिमीले भन्यौ, त्यस्तै भयो।
- जस्तो आमाले भन्नुभयो, त्यस्तै मैले गरेँ।
- जस्तो घर मैले सोचेको थिएँ, त्यस्तै भेट्टाएँ।
It is often used to say that a result matches a promise, an order or a plan. The doer in the first clause takes its usual marker.
The shorter way uses जस्तै after a noun or verb: तिमीले भनेजस्तै भयो. The pair above is the fuller form. It works for any kind of match: how something looks, how it is done, or how it turns out.

Common Mistakes
A learner uses the question word कस्तो.
कस्तो तिमीले भन्यौ, त्यस्तै भयो।जस्तो तिमीले भन्यौ, त्यस्तै भयो।जस्तो is the relative word, not कस्तो.
