The reason comes first, usually in its own clause or sentence: वर्षा धेरै भयो, अतः बाटो बन्द भयो. The result follows.

अतः often opens the final sentence of a notice: अतः सबैलाई समयमै आउन अनुरोध छ. It can also start a new sentence after a full stop.

Do not use अतः for a reason that comes after the result. For that, use किनभने or -एको हुनाले. अतः points forward from the reason to the result, so the reason must already be on the page.
