A Completed Action Relevant Now
The past form and आहे agree with the doer for verbs like येणे and with the object for verbs like लिहिणे.
How It Works
This pattern gives news that matters now. It answers a question such as "Where is she?" with सई घरी आली आहे. (Sai has come home.)

A transitive past verb agrees with an object that has no ending, not with the doer. If the object ends in -ला, the verb stays neuter: त्याने मुलाला पाहिले आहे. So तिने खिडकी उघडली आहे uses उघडली because खिडकी is feminine.
Compare with the plain past. तो आला says he came. तो आला आहे says he has come and is here now.
Speakers use this pattern when they report news or check on something. Typical questions are तू जेवला आहेस का? and सई आली आहे का?
To say it has not happened, use the past form with नाही: तो आला नाही. This one form means both he did not come and he has not come. For something that already happened before another moment, use -ले होते.
