अगर ... त

If and Then

Level 3Sounds Like agara ... ta

अगर gives a condition and त gives the result.

How It Works

This is the real if of future plans. The condition is possible, and the result depends on it.

If-clauseResult
अगर बरखा होई,त हम ना आइब।
जदि तू कहबऽ,त हम चलब।
अगर पइसा रही,त हम नया मोबाइल किनब।

अगर and जदि mean the same. Speakers use अगर more in everyday talk, and जदि feels a little more like writing.

The verb in the if-clause is usually the future (होई, रही). For something that did not happen, use the form with -तीं, as in जनतीं त.
