বতাহ কমি গ’ল “the wind dropped”, and দাম বাঢ়ি গৈছে “prices have gone up”.

How It Works

The helper যোৱা turns a verb into a change. English often says “went” or “got” with the verb: “went down”, “got used to”, “ran out”.

TenseFormMeaning
Pastকমি গ’লwent down

The past is গ’ল for সি, তাই and তেওঁ. Use গ’লোঁ for মই and গ’লা for তুমি. Many of these verbs describe things that run out, break, change or come to an end: শেষ হৈ গ’ল “ran out”, মৰি গৈছে “have died”.
