Something Pleases Me
The person takes -ৰ, and the thing liked comes next: মোৰ চাহ ভাল লাগে.
How It Works
This is a different sentence shape from ভাল পাওঁ. The person is in the -ৰ form, as if you said “to me, tea is pleasing”.
| Who likes | Example |
|---|---|
The verb লাগে does not change for the person. The words are the same for “I like it” and “you like it”, and only the first word changes.
The negative is ভাল নালাগে: মোৰ চাহ ভাল নালাগে “I do not like tea”.
A question word can stand in for the thing: “what do you like more?”.

Common Mistakes
With ভাল লাগে, the person who likes takes -ৰ, not the plain মই.
