Learn the three stems as one set: ძლევ- in the present, ცემ- in the future, and ც- in the past.
The preverb points at the receiver. With him, her or them it is მი-: მისცა (he gave him). With me, you or us it is მო-, plus the marker მ-, გ- or გვ-:
- მომეცი! (give me!)
- მომცა (he gave me)
- მოგცემ (I'll give you)
The receiver is in the dative: მამამ ნინოს გასაღები მისცა (dad gave Nino the key).
