Reflexive + en/hi
Reflexive Clitics with En and Hi
Keep reflexive clitics when en or hi is part of the same pronominal construction.
How It Works
Anar-se'n, adonar-se de and acostumar-se a all include a reflexive element. With a recovered complement, their forms include me'n vaig, se n'adona and s'hi acostuma. The reflexive pronoun changes with the subject; en and hi do not mark person.
Some en/hi elements are lexical parts of the verb's meaning, while others replace a complement. In either case, omitting the reflexive element can produce a different verb or an incomplete construction.
Position follows the verb form: me'n vaig but vull anar-me'n; s'hi acostuma but acostumar-s'hi. Move and spell the whole cluster together rather than placing one pronoun before and one after the same verbal unit.
