How It Works
စသည့် comes from စ (to start), so it means "starting with these". It closes a short list of examples. The noun after it names the whole group.

Put ၊ between the items and a space before စသည့်. Two or three examples are enough: the reader knows more exist.
News and notices use this pattern often: the prices of rice, oil and salt, or a health notice that lists symptoms such as fever and a cough.
In speech, people say စတဲ့ or အစရှိတဲ့ before the noun: ဆန်၊ ဆီ စတဲ့ ပစ္စည်းတွေ. In writing, keep the noun written too, with များ.
The list can hold plain nouns, or actions turned into nouns with ခြင်း, such as ဖျားခြင်း (having a fever).

A health notice: စသည့် comes before လက္ခဏာများ (symptoms).

That shop sells Burmese food such as mohinga and Shan noodles.
စသည့် joins the two dishes to the group noun.

At the market they sell fish, vegetables, fruit and so on.
With no noun after the list, the phrase is စသည်တို့.
Common Mistakes
Putting ကို straight after စသည့်.
ငါး၊ သစ်သီး စသည့်ကို ရောင်းချကြသည်။ငါး၊ သစ်သီး စသည်တို့ကို ရောင်းချကြသည်။စသည့် needs a noun after it. With no noun, use စသည်တို့.
Using spoken တွေ for the group noun.
