करिहऽ

Asking a Friend for Later: -इहऽ

Level 3Sounds Like kariha̕

With तू, -इहऽ asks for something to be done later.

How It Works

Use it with a friend, a sibling or a child. For now, use the plain form करऽ.

VerbNowLater
आवलआवऽअइहऽ
जाइलजाजइहऽ
करलकरऽकरिहऽ
देलदऽदिहऽ

For a negative, put मत before it: हमरा के मत भुलइहऽ (Don't forget me).

It sounds more affectionate than the plain form. It often follows a promise or a farewell.

Do not use it for a command that is meant right now. Then use the plain form: बइठऽ, खा लऽ. The -इहऽ form tells the listener that you are looking ahead.
