काहे से कि gives the reason for something, like because in English.
How It Works
काहे means "why". Add से कि and the question word becomes "because". The reason is a complete clause.
You will see it written as one word, काहेकि, too. This course writes it in three words.
Do not mix it up with the question काहे, which opens a question: तुम काहे हँसत हौ? (Why are you laughing?). For a short reason that is a feeling, के मारे is often neater.
