With तुम, the helper after the -त form is हौ.

How It Works

This is the present for you when you use तुम.

It works for a question too. Say it with a rising voice, or add का at the end: तुम आवत हौ का?

For other people, change the helper:

  • तू: करत अहस
  • आप: करत अहैं
  • हम: करत अही

To say not, put नाहीं before the verb: तुम चाय नाहीं पियत हौ.
