The -া form works like a noun, so an object stands before it: এইটো খোৱা উচিত “you should eat this”.
The negative is নহয় after উচিত: ৰফিকুলে এনেকৈ কৰা উচিত নহয় “Rafiqul should not do it like this”.
The person has no special ending: মই ক্ষমা খোজা উচিত “I should apologize”. A name takes -এ, as in ৰফিকুলে. A question word can open the sentence: কোন জিকা উচিত? “who should win?”.
উচিত gives advice. It is gentler than কৰিব লাগিব, which says the thing has to happen.
