Through a Channel in Formal Writing
मार्फत means through a person or channel: बैंक मार्फत is through the bank.
How It Works
मार्फत tells the channel that carries something. It comes after the noun, as a separate word.

Use it for money, news, messages and requests: रकम बैंक मार्फत पठाउनुहोस्, सूचना रेडियो मार्फत प्रसारण गरियो. The noun can also be a person who passes something on: शिक्षक मार्फत अभिभावकलाई चिठी पठाइयो.
Print shows both spellings, joined and separate. This course writes मार्फत as a separate word. After को it also stays separate: बैंकको मार्फत.
The phrase is formal. In speech, say बाट or ले: बैंकबाट पठाउनुहोस्, साथीले खबर दियो.
