कोण
Asking Who
कोण is for people only; use काय for things.
How It Works
Use कोण when you want to know who someone is or who is doing something. For a finished action with an object, use
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
कोण has one form for men and women. The verb after it is singular when you ask about one person: कोण आहे? Use the plural verb for several people or for one person you respect:
For a thing, ask with काय. For a person, ask with कोण.
तू कोण आहेस? is a blunt question to a stranger. To meet someone politely, ask
