Use these only with तू, which is for friends, siblings and children. To an elder or a stranger, use रउआ and the -नी ending: रउआ कहाँ गइनी?

The ending is the same with and without an object. The ऽ is written but is only a final short a.

  • Using the wrong gender ending.

    नेहा, तू खाना खइलऽ?
    नेहा, तू खाना खइलू?

    A woman takes -लू.

  • Using -नी with तू.

    तू काल्ह पटना गइनी?
    तू काल्ह पटना गइलऽ?

    -नी is for हम and रउआ.
