जइबे करब
Definitely Doing: Doubled Verbs
Doubling a verb with -बे stresses that it will surely happen.
How It Works
For a promise or a sure thing, use two words. The first is your verb in its -ब form with -ए, which means "exactly". The second is करब, करी or करिहें, and it carries the tense.
| Form | Meaning |
|---|---|
| जइबे करब | I will definitely go |
| पढ़बे करब | I will certainly read |
| बढ़बे करी | it will surely rise |
| करबो करब | I will even do it |
The -बो version is different. It means "also" or "even": तू कहबऽ त हम करबो करब (if you say so, I will even do it).
Use -बे for certainty and -बो for "also" or "even".
