Me and You Before Postpositions
Before के, से or खातिर, हम becomes हमरा, तू becomes तोहरा and रउआ becomes रउरा.
How It Works
Pronouns have a second form for use before a postposition.
| Pronoun | Before a postposition | Example |
|---|---|---|
हमनी keeps its form and adds के: हमनी के.
This also shows up in हमरा लगे बा (I have), हमरा नीक लागल (I liked it) and हमरा चाहीं (I need).
