xabar berishicha
According to (A Report)
X xabar berishicha means according to X or as X reports. The source comes first: Agentlik xabar berishicha, ... (According to the agency, ...).
How It Works
The shape. Name the source, then xabar berishicha, then a comma and the news itself:
- Agentlik xabar berishicha, ... (According to the agency, ...)
- Ob-havo markazi xabar berishicha, ... (According to the weather centre, ...)
- Gazetaning xabar berishicha, ... (According to the newspaper, ...)
The source can stay without an ending or take -ning. Both are common in the news.
How it is built. ber- + -ish + -i + -cha. The possessive ending points back to the source.
Other verbs and persons. The same -ishicha shape works with other verbs of saying and knowing: uning aytishicha (according to him). With I or you, the possessive changes: sizning aytishingizcha (as you say), mening bilishimcha (as far as I know).
Similar phrases. Agentlik xabariga koʻra means the same thing with -ga koʻra. When no source is named, the news uses the passive maʼlum qilinishicha.
