-इनेछ

Formal Passive Future

Level 5Sounds Like inēcha

-इनेछ is the passive of the formal future. It is one word, found in notices and news.

How It Works

The ending -नेछ gives the formal future (गर्नेछु, गर्नेछ). With the passive linker -इ it becomes -इनेछ, and it announces what will happen without naming who will do it.

VerbFormal passive future
गर्नुगरिनेछ
दिनुदिइनेछ
बोलाउनुबोलाइनेछ

The doer is left out, and the sentence usually opens with what the news is about: the thing done, as in कार्यक्रम भोलि सुरु गरिनेछ, or the people it is for, as in सबै आवेदकलाई जानकारी दिइनेछ. The form is the same for singular and plural.

It belongs to notices, invitations and news. For a plain future in speech, use -ला or -ने छु instead. The negative is -इने छैन: नतिजा प्रकाशित गरिने छैन.
