हरेक
Every and Each
हरेक goes before a noun and means every one of them: हरेक दिन is every day.
How It Works
हरेक means every or each. It sits before the noun and does not change: हरेक बिहान (every morning), हरेक शनिबार (every Saturday), हरेक कोठा (every room).
The noun after हरेक stays singular. Standard Nepali usually does not add हरू here, because हरेक already means each one on its own. The verb usually stays singular too. In हरेक घरमा टिभी छ (every house has a TV), घरमा names the place and छ agrees with टिभी, one TV in each house.
You will use it most with time words. हरेक दिन is every day, हरेक हप्ता is every week and हरेक वर्ष is every year. With a time word it often means the same as always at that time, so it sits close to सधैँ, which comes in another entry.
When you mean all of a group together, use सबै instead: सबै साथी आए means all the friends came. हरेक stresses each one, and सबै stresses the whole group.
