Level 2Sounds Like sadhaim̐, prāyaḥ ra kahilēkāhīm̐

सधैँ is always, प्रायः is usually and कहिलेकाहीँ is sometimes.

How It Works

These three words tell how often you do something. सधैँ means always, प्रायः means usually or most of the time, and कहिलेकाहीँ means sometimes or now and then.

WordMeaningExample
सधैँalwaysम सधैँ चिया पिउँछु।
प्रायःusuallyउनी प्रायः बसमा जान्छिन्।
कहिलेकाहीँsometimesहामी कहिलेकाहीँ मम खान्छौँ।

All three usually go before the verb and keep the same shape. For a habit now, the verb is in the simple present. Past habits use a different ending, which comes later. Spell सधैँ and कहिलेकाहीँ with the chandrabindu (ँ), because the nasal sound is part of the word. प्रायः ends in a visarga (ः), which is a soft h sound.

To say never, use कहिल्यै with a negative verb.
