Telling Someone to Do Something
With an action in -ायला, the past verb सांगितले stays neuter.
How It Works
There are three parts: the person told (with -ला), the action ending in -ायला, and सांगणे.

A third-person doer of सांगणे takes -ने or -नी in the past: आईने, सरांनी, डॉक्टरांनी. The thing told is an action, so in the past सांगितले stays neuter (-ले) after an action in -ायला. With तू, add -स: तू सांगितलेस. With तुम्ही, add -त: तुम्ही सांगितलेत.
In the present and future, the verb matches the doer: आई मला सांगते. (Mom tells me.) The person told still takes -ला: आई मला रोज उठायला सांगते. (Mom tells me to get up every day.)
The action in -ायला has no person ending, so it looks the same for every speaker. Only सांगणे shows who tells and when.

सांगितलेस is neuter -ले plus -स for तू.
