This verb is regular. The stem ჭამ- stays the same, and the preverb შე- marks the future and the past. შე- here means the food gets eaten up: შევჭამე is I ate it.
Watch the cases. In the present and future the food takes -ს: ხინკალს ვჭამ (I'm eating khinkali). In the past it is in the nominative and the eater takes -მა: ნინომ ხინკალი შეჭამა (Nino ate the khinkali).
