სადაც means where in a clause about a place.

How It Works

სადაც (sadats) works like რომელიც, but for places. Unlike რომელიც, it does not change case.

Question word	In a clause
სად ცხოვრობ? (Where do you live?)	ქალაქი, სადაც ვცხოვრობ (the city where I live)
საიდან ჩამოვიდა? (Where did she come from?)	სოფელი, საიდანაც ბებია ჩამოვიდა (the village grandma came from)

Like the other -ც words, it can stand without a noun: დაჯექი, სადაც გინდა (sit wherever you like). After იქ (there), it gives the place: იქ, სადაც ვცხოვრობ (there, where I live).

After a noun you can also say რომელშიც (in which): ქალაქი, რომელშიც ვცხოვრობ. სადაც is the shorter, everyday choice.

ვიცი რესტორანი, სადაც ძალიან გემრიელ ხინკალს აკეთებენ.
I know a restaurant where they make very tasty khinkali.

დაჯექი, სადაც გინდა.
Sit wherever you like.
No noun: wherever.
სოფელი, საიდანაც ბებია ჩამოვიდა, კახეთშია.
The village grandma came from is in Kakheti.
საიდანაც: from where.

Using the question word სად.

The clause needs -ც.
