ვფიქრობ
I Think
ვფიქრობ means I think; about someone is -ზე: შენზე ვფიქრობ.
How It Works
| Person | Form |
|---|---|
| I | ვფიქრობ |
| you | ფიქრობ |
| he, she | ფიქრობს |
| we | ვფიქრობთ |
| they | ფიქრობენ |
The person who thinks is in the nominative, as with most present-tense verbs.
To say who or what you are thinking about, put -ზე on it, the same ending that means on and about: შენზე ვფიქრობ (I'm thinking about you).
Some useful phrases:
- რას ფიქრობ? (What do you think?)
- მეც ასე ვფიქრობ. (I think so too.)
- ბევრს ფიქრობს. (He thinks a lot.)
In everyday talk, Georgians often use the shorter მგონი (I think, probably) for a guess.
