Possessives in Other Cases
My, your and the other possessives change a little in some cases, like adjectives.
How It Works
| Case | my | his, her | their |
|---|---|---|---|
შენი, ჩვენი and თქვენი work like ჩემი: შენს, ჩვენს, თქვენს. მისი and მათი drop the -ი: მის, მათ.
The noun after the possessive takes the case ending as usual: (I'm at my friend's place).
In the past group, the doer of an action takes -მა, and so does the possessive: ჩემმა დამ (my sister, as the doer). You will learn this at Level 3.
