With तुम the future ends in -इहौ.

A stem that ends in -आ shortens the आ before the ending: जइहौ, अइहौ, खइहौ. Do not write जाइहौ or आइहौ.

The ending is the same for a man and a woman. For closer friends, तू takes -इबे, and for respect, आप takes -इहैं.

Other speakers, mostly in the east, put -ब on तुम as well. Lessons use -इहौ.

    खइहौ is खा shortened plus -इहौ.

  4. तुम चीठी लिखिहौ?

    Will you write the letter?

    A stem ending in a consonant adds the ending straight on.

  5. तुम सनीचर के दिन घरे रहिहौ?

    Will you be at home on Saturday?

    रहिहौ is रह plus -इहौ.

  • Using the हम ending with तुम.

    आउब goes with हम.
