-इबे
Future with तू: -इबे
With तू the future ends in -इबे.
How It Works
For the close तू, the future ends in -इबे. It is a form to know when you talk to a close friend, a younger relative or a child.
| Verb | तू future |
|---|---|
| करब | करिबे |
| जाब | जइबे |
| आउब | अइबे |
| खाब | खइबे |
Stems in -आ lose their long vowel, just as they do before -इहौ and -इहैं. Write जइबे and अइबे, not जाइबे or आइबे.
Around Lucknow and in the west, तू takes -इहै instead (तू कब अइहै?); both are real Awadhi, so you will meet either.
With the friendly तुम use -इहौ (तुम कब अइहौ?), and with आप use -इहैं.
