-نے + دینا
Letting Someone Do Something
Use کرنے دینا for “let someone do.”
How It Works
In مجھے کھڑکی کھولنے دیجیے, the speaker asks permission to open the window. مجھے identifies the person who will do the opening; دیجیے addresses the person granting permission.
Contrast کام کر دیجیے with مجھے کام کرنے دیجیے. The first asks the listener to do the work. The second asks the listener to allow the speaker to do it.
دینا carries the tense or request form. A perfective permission clause can mark the person granting permission with نے: مریم نے بچے کو باہر جانے دیا.
