-ला
Probably Will
-ला means it will probably happen, or it may happen.
How It Works
-ला is softer than -नेछु. It says a thing will probably happen, and it can also guess at the weather or at what another person will do.
| Doer |
|---|---|---|
A stem that ends in a vowel, like जा-, takes the long vowel in -ऊँला: जाऊँला.
-ला also fits weather guesses and other maybe-sentences: पानी पर्ला (it may rain). For a firm promise, use -नेछु. For a plan that is already made, use -ने छु.
