हुनसक्छ marks a guess about something that might be true.
How It Works
हुनसक्छ is a fixed word for maybe. It has no person or tense endings: the verb that follows carries the sentence.

It is a shorter way to say it can be that. The sense is less sure than a plain statement.
You can also use it as an answer: हुनसक्छ means maybe, on its own.
Do not add person endings to it when it means maybe. Written as two words, हुन सक्छु means I might be, as in म गलत हुन सक्छु. Write हुनसक्छ म आउँछु (maybe I will come), not हुनसक्छु.
The same sense can be made with the verb ending -ला, which Level 2 teaches, as in पानी पर्ला.
