მე and შენ Keep One Form
Pronouns That Keep One Form
მე, შენ, ჩვენ and თქვენ keep one form, whatever job they do in the sentence.
How It Works
| Sentence | Meaning | Job of the pronoun |
|---|---|---|
| მე ვწერ. | I write. | doer |
| მე მიყვარს ზღვა. | I love the sea. | the one who feels |
| ნინო მე მხედავს. | Nino sees me. | object |
| მე შენ გხედავ. | I see you. | შენ is the object |
Compare a noun: ნინო წერს (Nino writes), ნინოს უყვარს (Nino loves), ნინოს ვხედავ (I see Nino). The noun changes; მე and შენ do not.
These pronouns change only with postpositions and in the possessive: ჩემთან (at my place), ჩემი (my).
ის and ისინი are different: they have other forms, such as მას and მათ.
