Dates
Say the day number, then the month, in the dative for on: 12 ოქტომბერს.
How It Works
| Say | Georgian |
|---|---|
| Today is May 5. |
| on May 5 | 5 მაისს |
| in May | მაისში |
| in 2026 | 2026 წელს |
| on May 5, 2026 | 2026 წლის 5 მაისს |
In a full date the year comes first, in the genitive: 2026 წლის (of the year 2026), then the day and the month.
Georgian does not start names with a capital letter, so the months are written like any other word.
Dates are usually written in digits.
