یہاں / وہاں
Here and There
یہاں points to the place near the speaker. وہاں points to a place farther away or already known.
How It Works
یہاں بیٹھیے invites someone to sit here. The location word has no gender ending.
وہاں ایک دکان ہے says there is a shop at that place. وہاں names the place; it is not required in every sentence that English starts with “there is.”
In وہ وہاں ہے, وہاں refers to a place already understood. The first word refers to the person; the second refers to the place.
