The location can come first with میں. Choose ہے for a singular item or ہیں for plural items introduced there.

How It Works

باغ میں ایک درخت ہے means there is a tree in the garden. The introduced noun is singular.

کمرے میں دو کرسیاں ہیں means there are two chairs in the room. The plural noun takes ہیں.

میز پر ایک خط ہے means there is a letter on the table; پر marks the surface.

You can add a determiner or adjective: گھر میں نیا مہمان ہے means there is a new guest in the house.
