Verb + ไปเลย can urge someone to proceed or describe proceeding directly. Read it with the whole utterance, including any words about waiting or hesitation.

How It Works

Read the Complete Action:
กินไปเลย encourages eating in the first sentence. ถ้าชอบก็ซื้อไปเลย suggests buying if the person likes the item. ซื้อ ๆ ไปเลย จะได้จบ urges buying so the matter can be finished.

Read the Following Content:
บอกเขาไปเลยว่าเราไม่ไป includes the person being told before ไปเลย, then the content introduced by ว่า. Learn that whole order rather than a rule that every kind of object must go in the same position.

Read Context and Direction:
ก็กินไปเลยสิคะ urges eating and asks what the person is waiting for. It is not necessarily playful. เดินไปเลย เร็วกว่า suggests walking there because it is faster. Compare ไป and เลย in their own examples.

Keep Different Constructions Distinct:
ขับเลยบ้านไป says to drive past the house in the selected card. That spatial reading is different from urging an action with ไปเลย. กินไปเลย ไม่ต้องรอผม can tell someone to proceed without waiting; ก่อน is not required in every such sentence.
