کسی که بتواند کمک کند
Nonasserted Relative Clauses
میخواهم کسی را پیدا کنم که بتواند کمک کند. The helper has not yet been identified.
How It Works
State the search criterion. In دنبال کسی میگردم که بتواند کمک کند, the speaker wants a suitable helper. بتواند and کمک کند describe a requirement, without claiming that a particular helper has been found.
Compare a known person. کسی که فارسی بلد است اینجاست identifies someone whose knowledge is asserted. بلد است is ordinary indicative. The contrast concerns what the speaker asserts, not an English who versus whoever distinction.
Keep the relative subject clear. In کتابی میخواهم که تمرینهای ساده داشته باشد, the book is what should have the exercises. The special subjunctive داشته باشد belongs to داشتن; it is not built by attaching بـ to دارد.
Do not promise existence. A desired description can remain unfulfilled: کسی را پیدا نکردم که بتواند کمک کند. The negative main clause and the dependent description work together. The subordinate verb need not copy the main clause’s past shape.
