Short Pronouns After a Command
After a command, put the short pronoun after the verb: Кажи ми! (Tell me!) · Донеси го! (Bring it!)
How It Works
In statements and questions a short pronoun stands before the verb (Ми го даде.). A command form is different: the pronouns come after it.
- Кажи ми! — Tell me!
- Донеси го! — Bring it!
- Дај ми го! — Give it to me!
- Јави ми се! — Call me!
Order: the same as before a verb: to-someone pronoun, then object pronoun, as in ми го; ти ја; му ги. Се also follows the to-someone pronoun: Јави ми се.
Plural and polite commands work the same way: Дајте ми ја сметката. · Земете го клучот. A definite object is still doubled: Донеси го лебот.
Negative commands: with не + command, the standard norm keeps the pronoun after the verb: Не кажувај му! In everyday speech you will also often hear Не му кажувај!, but careful writing follows the norm. The other common way is немој да; немојте да, where the pronoun goes after да: Немој да му кажуваш.
The command forms themselves are taught in заповеден начин: читај; носи; пиј.

Помага takes a to-someone pronoun, so it is ми, not ме.
