How Often
How It Works
From most often to least often:
| Hindi | Meaning |
|---|---|
| हमेशा | always |
| रोज़ | every day |
| अक्सर | often |
| कभी-कभी | sometimes |
| बहुत कम | rarely |
| कभी नहीं | never |
Use them with the habit form of the verb: (She always comes on time). (We sometimes used to go to the river).
The usual place is right after the subject, as in Putting the word first gives it more weight: (Sometimes we eat out).
हमेशा also appears in blessings: हमेशा ख़ुश रहो (Always be happy). With नहीं after it, हमेशा नहीं means not always: वह हमेशा नहीं आता (He doesn't always come).
