ძალიან
Very
ძალიან means very or very much.
How It Works
| English | Georgian |
|---|---|
| very good | ძალიან კარგი |
| very beautiful | ძალიან ლამაზი |
| very well | ძალიან კარგად |
| I really love it | ძალიან მიყვარს |
| I really like it | ძალიან მომწონს |
With an adjective and a noun, ძალიან goes before the adjective: ძალიან ლამაზი ქალაქი (a very beautiful city).
It also goes with amount words: ძალიან ბევრი (very many, a great deal), ძალიან ცოტა (very little).
To say thank you very much, Georgians say დიდი მადლობა (literally big thanks). For extra warmth, say ძალიან დიდი მადლობა.
ძალიან also works as a short answer on its own: მოგწონს? ძალიან! (Do you like it? A lot!)
