ასეთი/ისეთი
Such
ასეთი means such or like this, and ისეთი means like that.
How It Works
| Word | Meaning |
|---|---|
| როგორი? | what kind? |
| ასეთი (aseti) | such, like this |
| ისეთი (iseti) | such, like that |
Before an adjective, they mean so: ასეთი გემრიელი ხაჭაპური! (such tasty khachapuri!), ისეთი ცივი ამინდი იყო! (the weather was so cold!)
They come from ასე (like this) and ისე (like that), which go with verbs: ასე გააკეთე (do it like this). ასეთი and ისეთი go with nouns.
Like other adjectives, they drop the -ი in the dative and before postpositions: ასეთ ქალაქში (in a city like this), ისეთ ფილმებს არ ვუყურებ (I don't watch films like that).
