ამრიგად (thus) sums up, and შესაბამისად (accordingly) gives a result; both link ideas in formal writing.
How It Works
Formal writing links its ideas with words that show how one sentence follows from another:

After a genitive, შესაბამისად means in line with: წესების შესაბამისად (in line with the rules).
Both words sound formal. In a chat with friends, ამიტომ or ასე რომ (so) sounds more natural.
