Proclisis in negative commands
Negative commands use subjunctive forms and place weak pronouns before the verb.
How It Works
Compare fes-ho with no ho facis, vine with no vinguis, and ves-hi with no hi vagis. Adding no to the affirmative command is not enough; the verb form can change as well as the pronoun position.
For vosaltres, use forms such as no parleu and no ho feu. For vostè/vostès, the verb can look like the affirmative formal command, but the pronoun moves before it: expliqui-m'ho versus no m'ho expliqui.
The order is no + complete pronoun group + verb. Keep all pronouns together, as in no me'l donis. A negative statement and a negative command can look similar, so context and the subjunctive form help identify the intended instruction. Lack of necessity with no cal is a different meaning from a direct prohibition.
